Sumario: Singapore is aiming to cement its status as a global hub and enabler in both the FinTech and lnsurTech space, with the announcement of several major initiatives at the recent 2017 Singapore FinTech Festival. More than a showcase platform, the week-long event, which featured lnnovation Lab Crawl; conference; exhibition; a "Hackcelerator"; FinTech Awards and an lnvestor Summit, saw a total of more than 30,000 participants from over 100 countries, and culminated in US$2 billion being made available for start-ups.
