<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Patinetes, segways, hoverboards, monociclos y otros dispositivos eléctricos de movilidad personal permiten ganar unos minutos al reloj en los desplazamientos urbanos. No se trata, realmente, de dispositivos nuevos, pero si hace unos años eran productos utilizados por un pequeño porcentaje de la población, hoy en día, gracias al abaratamiento de las baterías de alta capacidad, se han convertido en elementos habituales en nuestras ciudades, donde resulta incuestionable su aportación a la movilidad. Por tanto, parece también evidente que resulta necesario establecer unas pautas que contribuyan a facilitar una convivencia sostenible y segura entre estos nuevos dispositivos, peatones, ciclistas, vehículos y, en general, todos los usuarios de la vía pública.</abstract>
