<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El incremento de la fiscalidad energético ambiental en los próximos años será fundamental para lograr la transición hacia una economía descarbonizada. El reto es especialmente importante para España, donde estas figuras han tenido hasta ahora un papel marginal y descoordinado. En este trabajo se formulan y evalúan una serie de propuestas de reforma de la fiscalidad sobre el transporte por carretera y la aviación, sectores cruciales y retrasados en su proceso de transformación, al mismo tiempo que se estudian algunas cuestiones de saliencia y encaje institucional que son imprescindibles para garantizar la efectividad y viabilidad de estas figuras.</abstract>
