<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Según se desprende de datos publicados por ICEA, en el año 2018 el número de hogares asegurados en España puede calcularse en algo más de 17,9 millones. Teniendo en cuenta las estimaciones disponibles sobre el número de viviendas existentes, esto supondría que la cobertura del seguro del hogar alcanza al 76,8% de las viviendas, en un porcentaje que ha crecido de forma muy significativa en las últimas décadas.</abstract>
