<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Un total de 194 proveedores de seguros en 27 países de África, Asia y América Latina y el Caribe participaron en este estudio. En 2019, en estos 27 países, 194 aseguradoras cubrían entre 41 y 102 millones de personas mediante productos de microseguros, lo que representa entre el 3 % y el 7 % de la población de bajos y medianos ingresos
de esos países. Se registró un total de USD 1060 millones por concepto de primas de microseguros, lo que representa alrededor del 5 % del mercado potencial estimado para los microseguros en estos países</abstract>
