Lockdowns, travel restrictions, and quarantines add to the uncertainty. The result: historic airline demand patterns, traveler pricing sensitivities and booking behaviors have been scrambled like eggs. In a Q3 2020 research study we conducted of 43 airline executives, they told us they currently expect it will take 3.1 years from when one or more vaccines become available to the general public for the industry to return to 2019 pre- COVID-19 levels of traffic and revenue.</dc:description>
