New Care Models (NCMs) aim to tackle the problem through better coordination of health and care provision, by enhancing services closer to home and outside hospital settings, and encouraging interventions to promote good health. This report explores the current evidence on the effectivness of NCMs and outlines what insurers need to do to successfully adopt them. In addition, insurers are encouraged to be strategic orchestrators of services and focus on the convergence between Life and Health insurance
