<tableOfContents displayLabel="Contents">Esta edición de Perspectivas del Comercio Internacional de América Latina y el Caribe corresponde a 2021 y tiene tres capítulos. En el capítulo I se examina la evolución reciente del comercio mundial y regional tras la crisis provocada por la pandemia de enfermedad por coronavirus (COVID-19). Se proyecta que en 2021 el comercio mundial de bienes tendrá su mayor expansión desde 2010, como resultado del gradual levantamiento de las restricciones a la movilidad, del avance de los procesos de vacunación y de los programas de estímulo económico. El comercio de bienes de América Latina y el Caribe también se ha recuperado marcadamente durante 2021 debido al aumento de los precios de sus principales productos básicos de exportación, a la mayor demanda de sus principales socios comerciales y a la recuperación de la actividad económica en la región. En cambio, las exportaciones regionales de servicios aún no se recuperan del desplome que la pandemia produjo en el turismo internacional.</tableOfContents>
