<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Antártida. A los científicos les preocupa que el enorme glaciar Thwaites, también conocido como el glaciar del Apocalipsis, pueda estar desacoplándose. Si esto sucede, el glaciar, que tiene el mismo tamaño de Inglaterra, comenzaría a deslizarse hacia el océano, y dejaría de servir como gigante muro de contención de otros glaciares, que entonces, también podrían comenzar a moverse y a derretirse, y todo esto podría provocar un incremento de 2 a 3 metros del nivel del mar. Es un condicional con un impacto tan grande para el ser humano, que se hace necesario, al menos, prepararse para esa posibilidad </abstract>
