<subfield code="a">The pandemic and war in Ukraine have heightened concerns over national security in different fields, including food supply. Increasingly, we expect local and regional self-preservation instincts will come to underlie policy decisions. At the same time, the economic outlook remains shrouded in uncertainty. In our view, these dynamics together will lead to renewed focus on the real economy, and that three main drivers will shape the formation of a new multi-polar world economic order: 1) a realignment global supply chains; 2) added impetus to the green transition; and 3) potential for global food shortages. Insurers will remain key agents of resilience in helping manage the risks in times of transition</subfield>
