<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El informe presenta la actualización del Índice Global de Potencial Asegurador GIP-MAPFRE, el cual, basándose en estimaciones del tamaño de la Brecha de Protección del Seguro para los 96 mercados aseguradores más relevantes del orbe, ofrece una puntuación que ordena a cada uno de ellos de acuerdo con su contribución al cierre de la brecha de aseguramiento global, así como con su capacidad para converger a los niveles de penetración y densidad de los mercados más desarrollados. El informe destaca, en el contexto de la recuperación económica observada en 2021, a aquellos países denominados "mercados prometedores", que se caracterizan por su relevante potencial asegurador y porque podrían adelantar a otros mercados emergentes en el índice asegurador en la medida en que sus economías vayan alcanzando una mayor dimensión</abstract>
