The 2022 report highlights the growing importance of disclosing climate risks and opportunities in the financial and business sectors, as well as the global adoption of its recommendations. The TCFD framework is structured around four pillars: governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets. It proposes that companies report on how they identify, assess, and manage climate-related risks and opportunities, the potential impact on their business and finances, and the indicators and targets used to monitor their climate performance
