Using longitudinal data from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing, the research finds that older adults with higher genetic risk for ADHD experience poorer wellbeing, physical and mental health, with stronger effects among women, unmarried, less educated, and less wealthy individuals. Additionally, male partners' genetic risk negatively impacts female partners' health, while the reverse is not observed.
