<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Description de la production des carbures métalliques; valeurs limites d'exposition à ces produits aux Etats-Unis et en U.R.S.S. ; rappel des résultats de mesures effectuées dans les entrprises françaises pendant la période 1973-1978. Cette note enferme les résultats de 460 prélèvements d'ambiance effectués de 1979 à 1981. On constate un abaissement entre 1979 et 1981 des niveaux de pollution dans les ateliers de poudres, contrairement aux autres atelirs où les niveaux de pollution sont aussi élevés en 1981 qu'en 1979. Les mesures de prévention technique devraient être amplifiées afin d'enrayer la génération de nouveaux cas de pneumoconiosis qui sont inscrites depuis 1980 aux tableaux des maladies professionnelles</abstract>
