Title: Neurological long term consequences of deep diving / K. Todnem... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: The increased hyperbaric pressure influences the nervous system during deep diving. The divers may experience hand tremor, postural inestability, gastrointestinal problems, somnolence, and cognitive dysfunction. The neurological symptoms and sings that may occur have been termed the high pressure neurological syndrome (HPNS). The authors previously studied the immediate neurological effects of deep diving. This report appears to be the first follow up study of deep divers to evaluate possible long term consequences of deep divingRelated records: En: British journal of industrial medicine. - London and Margate. - nº 4, April 1991 ; p. 258-266Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboral Enfermedades profesionales Neurología Sistema Nervioso Central Submarinismo Otros autores: Todnem, K.
