Sumario: Moulds have been identified as the aetiological agents in various types of extrinsic allergic alveolitis such as farmer's lung, maple bark lung, bagassosis, and mushroom workers' lung. They have rarely been associated, however, with occupational asthma. This article describes a patient with occupational asthma caused by exposure to the spores of Neurospora sp in a plywood factory
