Notes: Sumario: Death and disruption of pulmonary macrophages may play a part in the development of pneumoconiosis. The trace element zinc can affect the activities of many enzymes in the human body. Evidence has been presented to show that zinc and other elements have an important influence in the development of pneumoconiosis.
