<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Inhalation exposure to m-xylene at 100-400 ppm caused some changes of psychophysiological performance of volunteer subjects, e.g. impairment of body balance and increase of reaction times. It recently performed a series of experimental inhalation studies with m-xylene to elucidate the kinetics and psychophysiological effects of the compound in man. In this comunication it reports on the relationship between the kinetics and acute effects of xylene with a further reference to a more recent comparative study involving m-xylene and alcohol</abstract>
