Notes: Sumario: The chemical progress of silicosis in rat lungs was studied after a single intratracheal injection of 50 mg SiO2. It is concluded that the metabolism of RNA changed in experimental silicosis; mRNA increased very markedly and collagen accumulated more than total nitrogen or wet weight.
