Title: Biological monitoring of occupational exposure to toluene diisocyanate : measurement of toluenediamine in hydrolysed urine and plasma by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry / Pernilla Persson... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: Toluene diisocyanates (TDI) are important industrial chemicals in the manufacture of polyurethane (PUR) foams, paints, coatings, and elastomers. Exposure to TDI may cause irritation of the mucous membranes and a progressive impairment of pulmonary function. It has sensitising properties and may cause allergic asthma. Further, commercial grade TDI is carcinogenic to animals. No increased overall incidence of cancer was, however, found among workers from the Swedish polyurethane foam manufacturing industryRelated records: En: British journal of industrial medicine. - London and Margate. - nº 12, December 1993 ; p. 1111-1118Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboral Enfermedades profesionales Industria química Disocianato de tolueno Espumas de poliuretano Enfermedades pulmonares Asma bronquial Cáncer Epidemiología Otros autores: Persson, Pernilla
