Poluchlorinated biphenils (PCBs) in electrical transformers may create a hazard to the environment, property, and human health if there is an uncontrolled release. The first important element in controlling contamination from PCB incidents is anticipacion. Following this, the extent of contamination must quantified by air and wipe samples, and finally, the contamination must be removed and clean up must restore the area to acceptable levels prior to reoccupation
