Sumario: Four new manual handling experiments are reviewed. The purpose of this paper is to review the four experiments, integrate the data with previous results, and present a revised and more complete set of tables based upon a larger sample of subjects. Each experiment used a psychophysical methodology with measurements of oxygen consumption, heart rate, and anthropometric characteristics
