Sumario: In this experimental study the relationship between human ability to identify correctly the colours with the equation of the luminance on a CRT screen and three experimental factors (ambient illuminant intensity, colour temperature and target luminance) were examined. The purpose was to provide an experimental database for the colour coding system on the CRT display under ambient illuminant conditions
