Title: Measurement of arsenic and mercury concentrations by hydride and cold vapor atomic absorption spectrophotometry / Teng-Chang Pan, Chin-Wang HuangAuthor: Pan, Teng-Chang
Notes: Sumario: The main objectives of this study were to assess arsenic and mercury exposure and to promote understanding of biological monitoring. The arsenic and mercury in the specimens of nonoccupational controls and workers were determined by hydride atomic absorption spectrophotometry and cold vapor atomic absorption espectrophotometry. The results showed that total arsenic levels in the exposed workers were significantly higher than those in nonexposed controls, and that there is a risk of arsenic poisoning to the workers engaged in motorcycle muffler assemblyRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Fairfax, Virginia. - Vol. 54, nº 8, August 1993 ; p. 454-457Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Arsénico Mercurio Espectrofotometría Riesgo laboral Contaminación atmosférica Control de la contaminación Otros autores: Huang, Chin-Wang
