<abstract displayLabel="Summary">In a effort to better characterize levels of airborne fibers associated with the installation of residential insulation, airborne fiber concentrations were measured before, during, and after the installation of typical insulation products. The concentrations of total and respirable airborne fibers were determined according to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 7400 and 7400B techniques, and the type of fiber was also identified</abstract>
