L'étude portait sur trois paramètres: l'efficacité de pièces faciales filtrantes ou de demi-masques non ventilés, mesurée à partir des concentrations de polluants déterminées simultanément à l'interieur de l'appareil de protection respiratoire; la charge physique du sujet, évaluée par l'observation et l'analyse de l'activité; le confort de l'appareil de protection respiratoire, estimé au moyen d'un questionnaire d'auto-évaluation rempli par le sujet à l'issue d'une période d'essai</abstract>
