Sumario: OSHA requires that employers provide workers with suitable eye protection. OSHA and Prevent Blindness America recommend that anyone exposed to a hazardous environment wear safety glasses with side shields as minimum protection. When individuals are exposed to more dangerous hazards, the protective gear can also include goggles, face shields or eyewear designed to filter hazardous light or other types of radiation such as ultraviolet and laser
