<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: Conflicting regulations and the requirement to provide material safety data sheets (MSDSs) in multiple languages often present formidable barriers to managing a centralized MSDS system with world-wide applicability. A centralized MSDS system has been developed that deals with these problems through a concept of core and noncore data elements along with a centralized computer network that allows for maintaining the corporate integrity of critical health and safety information while providing a means to meet specialized national MSDS requirements. The system is operative in the United States, Canada, Latin American, and Europe</dc:description>
