Title: An Ergonomic evaluation of dexterity and tactility with increase in examination/surgical glove thickness / Jeffrey B. Nelson and Anil MitalAuthor: Nelson, Jeffrey B.
Notes: Sumario: This study was undertaken to explore the possibility of using an increased thickness latex examination/surgical glove to prevent exposure to contaminated body fluids resulting from needlesticks. It was hypothesized that there is a glove thickness that provides greater protection against needlesticks without compromising the dexterity and tactility of the hand, and that this glove thickness can be achieved without incurring substantial manufacturing costRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 38, nº 4, April 1995 ; p. 723-733Materia / lugar / evento: Guantes de protección Ergonomía Métodos de evaluación Resistencia de materiales Látex Otros autores: Mital, Anil
