<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El propósito de este estudio es doble. En primer lugar, clarificar cúal es la situación jurídica, en cuanto a obligatoriedad o no de afiliación al Régimen Especial de Autónomos, de los grupos de profesionales que aún no se han integrado en el sistema público de Seguridad Social y que reciben la protección de la mutualidad de previsión social promovida desde su colegio profesional. En segundo lugar, analizar cúales son las diferencias más significativas entre la protección que otorga a dichos colectivos su mutualidad y la que dispensa el Régimen Especial de la Seguridad Social de los Trabajadores por Cuenta Propia o Autónomos en cuanto a ls situaciones de necesidad protegidas, al contenido de las prestaciones otorgadas ante ellas y a los requisitos exigidos para causar derecho a dichas prestaciones</abstract>
