<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En el año 1992, informaron a los autores del presente artículo de un accidente laboral, ocurrido en una obra de construcción, por caída a distinto nivel (tres metros) de un trabajador. Al impactar sobre la red de protección, sujetada con soportes tipo horca, se rompió la red, continuando la caída hasta el primer forjado. Puestos en contacto con el lugar donde se produjo el accidente, los autores solitaron una muestra de la red a fin de realizar un análisis químico y mecánico de la misma. En este artículo se desarrolla el informe realizado sobre dicha red, así como sus conclusiones</abstract>
