<abstract>Según los datos publicados por APROSER, el Ministerio del Interior registró a lo largo de 2005 un total de 1.107 empresas de seguridad privada, lo que supone un incremento de 63 nuevas empresas con respecto a los datos del ejercicio de 2004. De este total de empresas, tan sólo 775 están en activo. Se presentan las siguientes estadísticas: personal de seguridad; tiempo medio de servicio según el tipo de contrato ; facturación del sector por actividades</abstract>
