<abstract>El Reglamento de seguridad contra incendios en los establecimientos industriales (RSCIEI), aprobado por el R.D. 2267-2004, de 3 de diciembre, establece diversas exigencias que atañen, además de a las instalaciones específicas, a la configuración y elementos constructivos de los edificios. Por ello, en la implementación de un nuevo taller de automóviles, o en la reforma de uno existente, deben tenerse en cuenta las prescripciones de este reglamento desde las primeras etapas del diseño, para evitar situaciones de difícil o costosa situación </abstract>
