IGNACIO H. DE LARRAMENDI RESEARCH GRANTS 2025

Through these grants, Fundación MAPFRE supports projects developed by individual researchers or research teams in academic and professional settings. The aim is to fund studies related to health promotion and insurance and social protection.

Funding:
- Health promotion: up to euros30,000 gross per grant.
- Insurance and social protection: up to euros15,000 gross per grant.
In the 2025 call, a total of 13 grants were awarded.

In health, topics include behavior-change strategies (obesity prevention, physical activity, and emotional well-being), emergency maneuvers education, bodily injury assessment, healthcare management, and longevity linked to lifestyles.

In insurance and social protection, priority topics include insurance, emerging risk management, new technologies in insurance, and social protection (pensions, savings, investment, wealth decumulation, and the senior economy). This initiative reinforces the commitment to research as a way to improve quality of life.
