<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La solvencia es fundamental para la actividad aseguradora, porque en la actividad aseguradora, en buena parte, tan importante son las prestaciones que el seguro pagará que aquéllas que está pagando ya. Incluso aunque el seguro sólo tenga una vigencia anual, sigue existiendo una diferencia temporal entre el momento en que el asegurado compra la protección y el momento en el que la necesita.</abstract>
