<abstract displayLabel="Summary">There is no doubt that the covid-19 pandemic that has unfolded around the world also has an unprecedented impact on the insurance industry. A common reflex is to cut costs and postpone investments and put digital transformation programs on hold. We believe there are ample reasons to do exactly the opposite. Fortunately, we see more and more insurers who agree, accelerate their digital transformation and acknowledge the importance of involving insurtechs in this journey. The current crisis also highlights which type of insurtech solutions are more relevant than ever.</abstract>
