<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Breve exposición del contenido de la Ley 8/1988, de 7 de Abril, en lo relativo a la seguridad e higiene en el trabajo. El autor analizada dicha ley llega a las siguientes apreciaciones: la nueva normativa intensifica la potestad sancionadora de la Administración laboral; el régimen sancionador administrativo que se contiene en el título III de la Ordenanza General de Seguridad e Higiene de 1971 queda derogado; las infracciones que esta normativa introduce adolecen de generalidad y falta de concreción; la ley presenta lagunas y deficiencias técnicas que el autor atribuye a la precipitación en su elaboración</abstract>
