<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Le choc anaphylactique constitue la complication majeure de la sensibilisation au latex naturel d'Hevea brasiliensis, pouvant mettre en jeu le pronostic vital. Ces manifestations anaphylactiques surviennent dans différences circonstances: soit après contact cutané prolongé, soit, surtout, après contact muqueux ou per-opératoire. Les manifestations générales après contact prolongé ont été décrites après contact avec des gants en latex comme les gants chirurgicaux, les gants d'examen et les gants de ménage. Les manifestations d'intolérance s'aggravent progressivement, avec extension locorégionale et apparition de lésions urticariennes et oedémateuses à distance, gêne respiratoire, sensation de malaise, voire perte de connaissance</abstract>
