OgstonAutor: Shamssain, Mohammad H.Notas: Sumario: Forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV), forced expiratory ratio (FEV200-1200) and forced mid-expiratory flow (FMF) were measured in 100 non-exposed subjects and 110 subjects exposed to cement dust in Benghazi cement plant. The exposed group had a significantly lower mean FEV, FEF and FMF than the control group. The mean FVC and FEV values in the exposed and the control groups were not significantly different. However, the reduction in lung function in the exposed group was not linked to the period of exposureRegistros relacionados: En: Ergonomics. - London [etc.]. - Vol. 31, nº 9, September 1988 ; p. 1299-1303Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrialContaminantes químicosCementoPolvoVías respiratoriasVentilación pulmonarEnfermedades pulmonaresMedicina laboralOtros autores: Thompson, James Ogston, Simon A.
