Notas: Boiler repair work in power plants is associated with significant exposure to a complex mixture of toxic agents consisting of fuel-oil ash, vanadium and other metal oxides, and nitrogen dioxide and ozone from welding emissions. Exposure to vanadium oxides in particular has long been known to cause acute respiratory symptoms or illness, ranging from mild irritation to bronchitis and pulmonary edema. Reduced pulmonary function has also been reported in boilermakersRegistros relacionados: En: Journal of occupational and environmental hygiene. - Cincinnati, Ohio : American Industrial Hygiene Association : American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. - Vol. 2, nº 9, September 2005 ; p. 435-443Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Motores de combustión Gases contaminantes Depósitos de combustibles Emisiones Enfermedades respiratorias Otros autores: Liu, Youcheng
