<abstract displayLabel="Summary">This report aims to describe the main issues that CAs are facing and to provide an overview of the main consumer protection and retail conduct of business rules that apply to the cross-border provision of financial services, with a view to analysing how the current legislation addresses those issues. The report concludes with a number of observations arising from the analysis of the issues and the current legal framework and with some recommendations for EU co-legislators and CAs.</abstract>
