<abstract displayLabel="Summary">A pesar del protagonismo de la sostenibilidad en la agenda pública y empresarial, el sector forestal sigue siendo una asignatura pendiente en términos de desarrollo económico y aprovechamiento estratégico. Sin embargo, pocos sectores reúnen tantas condiciones para convertirse en un vector clave de inversión sostenible y crecimiento económico. Especialmente en España, donde el 57% del territorio es superficie forestal y 18,7 millones de hectáreas es superficie arbolada, la tercera mayor de Europa.</abstract>
