Climate remains the universal impact theme, while social priorities vary by region. Most IAOs target modest allocations (typically under 5% of AUM) concentrated in private markets, though interest in listed equities and public debt is growing. Key challenges include defining credible impact classifications, aggregating impact performance at the portfolio level, and strengthening measurement and reporting systems. The report underscores IAOs' potential to drive systemic change, provided they embed impact alongside financial objectives and scale allocations without compromising impact integrity</abstract>
