<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Cette note présente d'abord les points sur lesquels les détecteurs de proximité inductifs peuvent être impliqués par la réglementation puis décrit les caractéristiques des dispositifs d'après les normes: portée, volume sensible, caractéristiques dynamiques, noyabilité, caractéristiques de raccordement, caractéristiques électriques. Les caractéristiques des dispositifs sélectionnés ont été vérifiées en environnement normal, puis en environnement perturbé. Les résultats obtenus fournissent des éléments sur lesquels appuyer les recommandations d'usage: sur le chix de la portée nominale, le positionnement et le montage du détecteur, l'environnement perturbé.
