<subfield code="a">The purpose of this study was twofold. Firstly, to study if progression of the pulmonary fibrosis in cable impregnation workers occurs after cesssation of exposure to oil mist. Secondly, to study if exposure to cable oil disturbs pulmonary gas exchange at rest and during exercise. One hypothesis was that disturbed pulmonary gas exchange might occur in the absence of disturbed bellows function</subfield>
