Título: The Practical application of the Porton Diffusion Sampler for the measurement of time weighted average exposure to volatile organic substances in air / M. Evans... [et al.]
Notas: Sumario: The Porton Diffusion Sampler (PDS) responds to many volatile organic substances and has qualities which are ideal for environmental surveys. These have been tested during early stages of development by use in surveys where methyl-ethyl-ketone (MEK) and styrene were monitored. The device compares favourably with the conventional personal sampler and is shown to have advantages particularly for group monitoring where the requirement is in excess of 50 instrument hours per day and where there are no skilled occupational hygiene staff in attendance. The authors expect the sampler to become a basic tool in occupational hygiene practiceRegistros relacionados: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4, December 1977 ; p. 357-363Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Sustancias tóxicas y peligrosas Contaminación atmosférica Muestreador Muestreos Estireno Metil-etil-cetona Contaminantes orgánicos Otros autores: Evans, M.
