Sumario: A study, conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics in 20 states, involved 1,251 workers in selected occupations who suffered impact injuries to the foot. The study showed that most of the injured were not wearing protective footwear, and that most of their employers did not require them to wear safety shoes
