<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: The authors developed a technique using a two-stage, Lovelace virtual impactor to classify aerodynamically a monodisperse aerosol for calibration of OPCs (optical particle counter). The advantages of this method are that (1) classified aerosols can be introduced directly into the OPC to compare the optical response with the aerodynamic size and (2) only one sampling is needed to provide a calibration point. Using this technique, a two-stage virtual impactor can be used as the sampling inlet of an OPC for aerodynamic calibration of aerosols in the field</dc:description>
