<abstract displayLabel="Summary">This study was done (1) to further identify the bacteria, molds, and yeasts found in swine confinement environment, (2) to quantify the respective bacteria and fungi in respirable and in total dust fractions, (3) to verify the difference in microbial contamination between farrowing and fattening units and the variability over time, and (4) to compare bacterial contamination in the authors'cold climate to data of other countries</abstract>
