Sumario: The purpose of the present study was (a) to examine a gas exchange including the components of pulmonary ventilation, blood lactate, and heart rate in intermittent sorting of postal parcels, and during recovery; and (b) to compare the responses to the parcel sorting to those obtained during arm crank (upper body) and cycle-ergometer (leg) exercise
